Poland is a country in Central Europe, situated between the Baltic Sea int he north and two mountain ranges ( the Sudetes and Carpathian Mountains) in the south. Poland began to form into a recognisable territorial entity around the middle of the 10th century under the Piast dynasty. The Kingdom of Poland was founded in 1025.
